Harmony by Makihara offers this high grade of flooring in long average lengths that are unmatched in the flooring industry.

The combination of high grade and long lengths in engineered flooring is unique and difficult to achieve. The reason for this is because it can only be manufactured by using the top grade of lumber available in the industry. Large manufacturers must use lower grades of lumber that are available in mass volume to meet their demand and pricing needs. The defects in the lower grade lumber are chopped out to produce their clear grade flooring. The result is a floor with a very short average length of boards which is usually an industry average of only 30” per board. Our floors have an average length range of 5 to 7 feet per board which easily doubles the industry standard. These long average lengths of premium grade flooring can only be made by using the top grade of lumber offered in the industry.

Long lengths of premium grade engineered flooring boards extend the continuity and beauty of the natural wood grain and minimize the number of seams between boards to create clean visual lines of elegance. Floors with shorter boards have a choppy and busier look.
